ABOUT DANIELA RAMIREZ
Daniela Ramirez is a social justice communications strategist. She believes communication strategies can motivate people to take action, shift public narratives, and change hearts and minds, ultimately paving a path to freedom for us all. With expertise in media, narrative change, messaging, and campaign development she is adept at quickly identifying the best approach to meet a client’s goals and have the most impact. She knows how to effectively reach audiences where they are - whether through a New York Times story, an Instagram carousel, or a popular content creator’s TikTok.She’s proud to offer strategic counsel to Ben & Jerry’s social activism team on their ongoing public safety and criminal legal reform work, the National Domestic Workers Alliance on their work to transform the care industry, the National Domestic Violence Hotline’s work to launch their new c4 Survivor’s Justice Action, and the National Network of Public Health Institutes on their work to build a first-of-its-kind interactive resource for community-based organizations building health equity across the country. Most recently she has jumped into the drug reform space, helping the Drug Policy Alliance in their work to combat the ongoing disinformation and opposition in the fight to decriminalize drug use. She has expertise in racial justice, voting rights, democracy protection, and health equity, and has leveraged her background and vast connections in the reproductive health, rights, and justice space to build the reproductive rights practice for Spitfire, bringing in clients from the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) to the Women’s Equality Center (WEC) focused on reproductive justice in Latin America. Having the immense privilege of working closely under the leadership of Cecile Richards, she has expertise in developing and expanding upon existing thought leadership and profile building for emerging and prominent leaders.
