Selected Highlights- Successfully improved multiple Medicare Advantage contracts from 3.5 Star Ratings to 4.0 Star Ratings in the first year, 4.5 Star Ratings in year 2, and sustained 4.5 Star Ratings after- Annually implemented key intervention initiatives to increase performance and/or maintain accreditation across Medicare and Medicaid quality programs- Established and led Government Programs and Quality Improvement organizations at multiple health plans- Delivered transformational leadership of program management team responsible for increasing performance from 3.5, 3.5, 3.5, and 4.0 Stars (out of 5) to 4.0, 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5 Stars respectively across 5 Medicare Advantage contracts- Designed and implemented multiple member reward programs leveraging state-of-the-art member engagement platform- Designed and implemented smartphone applications providing member engagement tool, prescription alerts, and educational resource center for Medicare Advantage members- Designed and implemented a Mobile Clinic program in Western PA market to take care into communities, boost Risk score accuracy, and promote preventive care- Developed and implemented Medicare Stars performance forecasting models at multiple health plans which have achieved 98% forecasting accuracy consistently Dan is an industry thought leader and believes in challenging the status quo.
