2023 will see my 10th anniversary as a Development Surveyor working for Avison Young in the Land and Development Team, based in our Bristol office and covering the south west.We work with a diverse range of clients including landowners, developers and investors from across the private, public and third sectors providing advice, strategy, delivery and agency services for development land and property. This includes greenfield and brownfield land and property, strategic land, Build to Rent investments and retirement/care.Personal highlights include acquiring the first BtR scheme in Bath, the disposal of 2021\'s largest land transaction in the UK with consent for 2,500 homes, seeking delivery partners for Goram Homes across five sites in Bristol including Hengrove Park (planning consent for 1,435 homes) and the prestigious SS Great Britain Car Park and Castle Park sites city centre sites, and being appointed to support Deloitte as their local expertise in the delivery of the St Philips Masterplan across 400 acres around Bristol Temple Meads Station for Bristol City Council, Homes England, Network Rail and WECA.
