Responsible for manning oil / chemical tanker fleet allocated to the company.• Arranging crew for a newly acquired vessel• Issuing of contracts, control of contracts issued by crewing agents and monitoring all contracts affected by union agreements• Ensuring proper qualification, certification and medical fitness of joining crew and confirming availability of special flag state requirements• Arranging planned and enforced crew changes• Arranging travel and accommodation for on-signing / off-signing crew• Screening qualifications of proposed candidates for a vessel and liaising with crewing agents to acquire the required line-up• Ensuring that the crew is being well maintained, the certifications and qualifications comply with the manning standards, the crew performance and training are maintained and documented• Interviewing and selecting of seafarers• Performing office administration such as checking the fitness reports, reports of any non-conformity, collective or individual performance on-board and deciding on corrective actions• Monitoring crewing agents so that the screening and interviewing standards are maintained• Conducts a performance appraisal of the Master and chief Engineers, after their sign off, in close consultation with DPA and teams.• Handling Non-Conformity, Observation, Near miss, Incident, PSC reports• Preparation and conduct Document of compliance TMSA Audits (Element 3)(Total, Shell, BP, ExxonMobil, Neste, Chevron)• Preparation for annual DNV/GL audit• Keeping up to date and monitoring all the officer matrices in Q88.com and OCIMF site. • Preparing and submitting officer matrices as per oil majors request• Budget planning and control• Check and confirm accounts from the manning agencies and ships agents• Create and implement crewing procedures and certification matrices• Creating company social media profile and controlling the content (sharing news and open vacancies)
