Leading Transformation Programme for Manchester Diocese. Member of the Senior Management Team. Key Tasks- Ensure that appropriate programme and project management arrangements are in place for the Transformation Programme, to create a culture of accountability and delivery- Confirm the outputs and outcomes to be delivered for the diocese as a whole and for each deanery, and set up processes for proactively reviewing progress against these as part of the diocese’s overall governance arrangements- Support DBF and DBE colleagues in ensuring that the diocese’s key change programmes and projects align with the overall vision and strategy for the diocese, that they are co-ordinated and that interdependencies are appropriately managed- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, promoting engagement with the diocese’s vision and transformation programme. Assess the influences, interests and attitudes of the key stakeholders and align communication and engagement plans accordingly- Ensure that the key risks facing the transformation programme are managed and mitigated- Manage the programme budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against agreed budgets- Contribute to evaluations of elements of the transformation programme and support the sharing of learning, both within the diocese and with other dioceses- Working closely with the COO/Diocesan Secretary, facilitate and co-ordinate the development of the next iteration of the diocese’s strategic plan, in partnership with senior clergy and lay leaders across the diocese- Oversee the work of the Transformation Support Team and Programme Office, to ensure that they are effectively engaged in supporting the transformation programme at deanery level, and in a co-ordinated way as appropriate across the diocese.
