I didn’t start my career in an office tower.I started in a rural plastics injection molding plant in Bolivia — commuting 1.5 hours each way for a small stipend, watching old Russian and Chinese machines get rebuilt and pushed back into production.That’s where I first learned:Capital matters.Margins are fragile.Clients can disappear.And resilience keeps businesses alive.From there, I stepped into structured environments,Toyota’s Powertrain Division, Rolls-Royce Aviation, and AIG, learning lean systems, Six Sigma discipline, global manufacturing precision, and enterprise governance.Toyota taught me process.Rolls-Royce taught me precision.AIG taught me systems and risk.But I realized I wasn’t wired for corporate optimization — I was wired to build.I co-founded Sports Creek, navigating land leases, events, and cash flow in a people-intensive venue business.I helped develop Bumpy Pickle, a $4M ground-up recreational facility that tested capital structuring and construction risk.I co-founded and scaled an urban scooter platform to $1.2M in first-year revenue, operating 16-hour days during peak growth.I launched hospitality ventures internationally and learned firsthand the risk of remote partnerships and fixed-rent exposure.At one point, I operated 66 master-leased properties across Houston.
