A first-generation college graduate and a Master\'s degree holder, I have worked in a variety of organizations and environments - from Community Health work in Belize with the Peace Corps, to bringing the community to a learning space for young adults via my work with the Youth Advisory Council at University of California San Diego\'s Center for Community Health, as a Project Lead with the COVID-19 Operations Data Entry & Analysis team during the pandemic, and in my current role as a Community Liaison with the Communities of Focus team at the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department. I work tirelessly to bring community perspective, systems change frameworks, and results-based practices together to improve health outcomes for historically marginalized communities, especially those often forgotten about or left out of opportunities. I help build bridges between sectors (educational, behavioral health, workforce) and community coalitions to ensure better health outcomes and well-being for our community by making participatory processes the North Star for our community partners, advocates, and residents.
