The College of the Arts and Media (CAM) supports the University of Montana’s strong commitment to creating a vibrant and welcoming culture that expects and respects diversity. My role is to create communications that advance the goals and success of the CAM dean and team, and support CAM projects, including events, social media, project management, correspondence, and other projects. Everything we do is designed to contribute to student success and professional training by cultivating an atmosphere of innovation as the university grows its curriculum in art and music education, eSports, film, commercial music industries and new media (animation, digital filmmaking, gaming, music/sound technologies), and more.I get to- Manage and editing of social media channels - Assist the dean, directors and staff in promoting major events, speeches and performances Advise and support faculty and staff in PR and communications- Write and edit stories and resources (Alumni Q & As, brag sheets, newsletters, etc.)- Edit, manage and update the CAM website - Work on a vibrant, beautiful Missoula campus that educates more than students.The University of Montana’s College of the Arts and Media (CAM) is comprised of four schools: Journalism, Music, Theatre and Dance, and Visual and Media Arts. The college is also affiliated with the Dennison Theatre, Montana Media Lab, Montana Museum of Art and Culture and the Montana Repertory Theatre. CAM offers a nationally ranked School of Journalism, and the only dance program in the state. It is also home to the largest permanent collection of art in the state.
