Relocated from Minneapolis, MN to the Chicago suburbs in 1995 to establish National Karate Schools of Illinois. Over the past three decades, the organization has grown to five thriving locations and has been voted the Best Martial Arts Organization in the Chicago Suburbs for 14 consecutive years. Today, I lead and mentor a dedicated instructional team of 30 employees and 1,200 students, with a clear vision: to help each person reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom. In 2025, National Karate of Illinois was honored as one of the Top 100 Small Businesses in America by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
