ABOUT CRAIG SHEAHAN

I’ve always been passionate about water and the environment and obtained by BS in Biological Systems Engineering (with an emphasis in Water and the Environment). My early career included water and sewer infrastructure analysis and design for underserved rural communities throughout Nebraska and Alaska. Through my work, and personal interests, I’ve grown to understand and appreciate the direct link between safe, reliable water resources and healthy, vibrant communities. Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in integrated water resources projects that promote watershed health and water quality while also meeting the demands of our growing communities. I have a passion for sustainable planning and engineering design solutions that blend innovations for gray infrastructure and green infrastructure. I have obtained training and certifications that supports that passion (LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), etc. I also enjoy building, developing and leading diverse, cross-functional teams with adaptive leadership - challenging individuals and teams to be curious and to “think outside the box” to address the wide array of challenges facing our industry (from everyday human/people challenges to our most critical infrastructure issues). Finally, I get energy connecting dots, collaborating with others, and embracing the “servant leader” model - giving back to our communities and actively participating in professional organizations, committees and boards.
