About Cosmo Kedros
I am the Managing Director for the Americas at Vortexa, leading our Houston-based sales, product and analytics team. I’m an avid road racing cyclist, mountain biker and qualified pilot, with an Instrument Rating and high-performance endorsement.Prior to this I was Vortexa’s EMEA Commercial Lead in London. I joined in 2018 as a Senior Trading Specialist, working with the sales and Market Analysis teams.After university I was with Braemar ACM for a year before joining Westport Petroleum\'s fuel oil team in Nashville Tn. Here I worked on cargo operations, fuel oil blending and chartering before moving onto the trading team. Here I became versed in paper trading (hedge & spec) and physical cargo trading between Houston, Rotterdam and Singapore.In 2012 I moved to Louis Dreyfus Highbridge energy in Geneva, which then became Castleton Commodities. I moved back to London after Castleton\'s acquisition of Morgan Stanley\'s global merchant liquids business in 2016.I came across to Vortexa in 2018 to share my knowledge and experience with the team, and work alongside their data scientists to deliver a pioneering platform to the market.
