Within the SEC Reporting team, I work on several sections of company filings including complex footnotes (acquisitions, leases, stock-based compensation, commitments and contingencies, and others), press release materials including the calculation of non-GAAP metrics, and materials that support our BOD’s review of quarterly results. Outside of our filings I also maintain our 300+ lease portfolio, updating leases monthly by working closely with our real estate team, preparing monthly journal entries and addressing ad-hoc lease inquiries/audit requests. Additionally, I take the first pass at technical accounting research topics presented to us by the business and have had a major hand in overhauling the company’s posted accounting policies.
