ABOUT CONSTANTINE PSIMOPOULOS
A Kinesiologist by training and Harvard Medical School trained bioethicist, I am an interdisciplinarian, an educator, adaptive sports medicine clinician, a team player who always strives for the human connection in professional life and human dignity in all lives, one who seeks solutions by looking at different perspectives, drawing connections and thinking systemically always and effortlessly, one who sees the best in all people and his colleagues or staff by trying to encourage them to be at their best and have passion for what they do; towards eudaemonia or human flourishing.I believe in pedagogy and virtue ethics (or, what I call “an ethics of sympraxis”), community relations and authentic dialogue especially among international, diverse and underprivileged environments, and enjoy meeting people, especially doctoral students and future doctors and scientists who still want to change the world and are not afraid to take calculated risks. People who are authentic and original, acting in character and being moral agents of change driven by expert mercy and accompaniment (the principles of Pragmatic Solidarity that the late and great Paul Farmer showed us and all the world.)After having travelled 5 times the equivalent of the earth\'s circumference on my bicycle, which is almost three quarters the distance from here to the moon, having won national championships, national scholarships and national awards, I am absolutely convinced that the sky IS the limit and although we should be grounded.in research, we ought to always employ cultural humility, look up, aim high and smile!
