About Cole Wasdin

I\'m the Assistant Coordinator for the Humphrey Fellowship Program, a Fulbright Exchange, at VCU, where I get to support mid-career public health professionals from around the world as they spend ten months building skills, expanding networks, and preparing to lead meaningful change in their home countries. These Fellows are doing remarkable work in global health, and my job is to make sure the logistics, coordination, and countless moving parts work seamlessly so they can focus on what matters most. It\'s detailed work that requires flexibility and cultural awareness, and I find it deeply satisfying to know that when things run smoothly, brilliant people have more room to do brilliant things.Throughout my career, I\'ve been drawn to roles where I can remove barriers and create the conditions for people to succeed. Whether that\'s been building onboarding systems that help new employees hit the ground running, facilitating workshops on communication and trust across different cultures, or managing the kind of organizational change that lets growing companies scale without losing what makes them great, the thread has always been the same: I love working to set people up for success. My background in HR, consulting, and change management has taught me that the best systems are the ones people barely notice because they just work. That\'s what I aim to build, whether I\'m coordinating a fellowship program or helping an organization navigate transition.
