NAMI-OU is a student-ran organization dedicating to ending the stigma surrounding mental illness by hosting bi-weekly events and activities, providing service and volunteer opportunities, and creating a community where everyone feels welcome. NAMI-OU is an official sublet of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.As a founding member of NAMI-OU, I played a crucial role in establishing our organization from the ground up, including drafting our constitution and defining our mission. In my role as Social Relations Manager, I have successfully run our social media accounts and developed engaging campaigns that enhance our visibility and connect with our community. I create compelling digital media content that resonates with our audience, while also facilitating communication between community partners to foster collaborative relationships. My dedication to building a vibrant and inclusive club culture has been pivotal in driving member engagement and participation in our activities.
