Responsible for overseeing some of the state’s largest real estate initiatives across our nearly 400 facilities, working closely with various agencies to transform their workspaces and optimize facility management. Here’s a glimpse of my key responsibilities:• Strategic Leadership: Advising CMS on real estate development and project management strategies, while ensuring that major infrastructure projects are successfully planned, executed, and delivered.• Collaboration: Acting as the liaison between CMS and the state’s infrastructure and capital projects agencies, and also connecting with agencies aiming to upgrade their workspaces. I’ll be fostering cross-agency partnerships and aligning projects with broader state goals.• Project Oversight: Managing day-to-day operations for high-priority real estate projects, including facilities planning, engineering, architecture, and construction.• Sustainability Initiatives: Developing and driving innovative sustainability initiatives across the state, including EV charging stations, plus utility energy efficiency & conservation management.• Stakeholder Engagement: Serving as the spokesperson for CMS, representing the Chief of Staff in high-level policy and administrative meetings, and communicating CMS’s initiatives effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.• Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly reporting on the progress of ongoing projects and initiatives, ensuring that we meet key milestones and deliver optimal results for all involved parties.• Leadership & Supervision: Leading and supervising a talented team, driving success across various critical projects, and managing confidential, high-sensitivity assignments for CMS leadership.
