Jointly responsible for the leadership of Manchester Deaf Centre, one of the UK\'s largest local deaf centres.Responsible for ensuring high quality provision in our- Services teams including children and young people\'s services, wellbeing group, advocacy and employment advice, and closely supporting the Manchester Deaf Social Club- Fundraising & communications, including writing large grant applications (£20k +), social media and website- Strategic leadership with local stakeholders and decision makers in NHS, Council, and disabled people organisationsWorking closely with my colleague Co Director Mark Woodall, who oversees the business operations including interpreter bookings, BSL and Deaf Awareness courses and room hire. Together we are responsible for all aspects of governance and reporting to the Board.
