Chuck Coleman is currently Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary for OPENLANE.From October 2017 to November 2020, Charles Coleman was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for KAR Global (Secretary as of October 2019). From April 2015 to October 2017, Chuck Coleman was Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for KAR Global. From March, to April 2015 Chuck Coleman was an associate attorney then partner with Krieg DeVault LLP. Prior to his departure, Chuck Coleman was Chair of the firm\'s Business Practice Group. His main areas of practice included corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and business law, secured lending matters, and student loan finance. He counseled a wide range of clients in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses involving privately and publicly held companies; joint ventures; licensing arrangements; corporate governance matters; secured and structured financings; sales of goods and services; securities regulation; and other general business matters and commercial needs. He has advised many start-up businesses, including those utilizing venture capital and private equity financing.
