Mr. Vee serves as part of the technical advisory group for the Information Users and Systems Group (IUSG). As a member of this team, he focuses on transforming the product offerings that IUSG provides to the CMS community through modernization of infrastructure hosting solutions, developing new critical infrastructure services, and challenging traditional delivery assumptions of end user assets. ABOUT CHRISTOPHER VEE

Mr. Vee has acquired a variety of technical and management experience. He combines the ability to understand translate business needs into technical requirements and speak to both management and technical concerns. He has over 20 years of experience in systems analysis, ID management, and systems development with a focus on user interfaces. Through his experience with the Johns Hopkins University he developed desktop security and user programs within healthcare and undergraduate environments that targeted specific user behaviors and needs. In addition, he led a project team through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to create an extensible software framework for language learning. Mr. Vee also brings more than 10 years of experience as a PMP certified project manager with a variety of programs and team sizes. Projects managed by Mr. Vee have met or exceeded the customer’s stated requirements. With Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), he managed a $48MM program and was consistently cited for his ability to clearly communicate and quickly respond to customer concerns. His most recent assignments with CMS included incumbent capture of the end user asset program and managing a $100M annual infrastructure program. Presently he is focused on developing architectures and prioritizing investment for infrastructure and application modernization.In addition, Mr. Vee brings experience in object oriented and scripting languages, educational software development, application quality control and security reviews, and managing small development teams.
