I joined Cigna\'s software development team focused on frontend work, where my team built a brand new mobile and web app from scratch using React and React Native. After we launched and the product hit its stride, I shifted gears to help on the backend side, building out microservices using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda to keep up with the product\'s growth.From there, I took on the challenge of owning a full product feature entirely on my own. I designed the frontend architecture, set up a new Lambda and DynamoDB table for additional data storage, and broke down the work for other developers to run with. Our team uses Terraform to manage all of our AWS infrastructure.My next project has me going full-stack again — building brand new web and mobile apps and writing Lambdas that plug into our existing internal APIs.
