Serve as the Branch Chief leading over 20 Federal and Contractor staff to ensure Security Governance, COMSEC, TACCOM and Classified Support activities sustain critical operations- Conduct administrative tasks for staff such as: Certify Timesheets, Approve Leave, Track Training and Career Development, Conduct Performance Evaluations, Mentor Staff, etc- Serve as Program Manager responsible for over 7 million dollars of staffing & service contracts- Manage Information Assurance Programs by ensuring system assurance compliance (Federal Laws and Policies, NIST Docs, and other Security Regulations)- Serve as the Information System Security Manager for all agency systems including classified systems which includes leading systems teams through the Risk Management Framework, respond to DHS HQ requests, and makes critical decisions on behalf of the agency that may change the security posture of systems- Establish clear communication lines with internal/external stakeholders (VPs, CIOs, CISOs, CFO, CTOs, ISSOs, PMs etc.)- Interface with Federal Agencies and Privacy Sector Companies to support cybersecurity initiatives on behalf of the Agency- Work closely with the Security Engineering to ensure all security tools have effective technical security policies and are integrated for all Government systems- Draft and Led efforts to the development of Security Risk Memos, Standard Operation Procedures, other security related governance document- Manage project schedule of all assigned systems, conduct forecast analysis to estimate resources and hours needed for each system and work with contractor teams to ensure dates are met- Develops Statements of Work, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Market Research, and other acquisition related documents- Conducts Strategic, Tactical, and Operations Planning- Displays the ability to think outside of the box to accomplish tasks.
