ABOUT CHRISTINA JOYMON

has a BS in Computer Engineering from Drexel University and a MS in Systems Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology. In college, she was the first Asian woman to become President of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and was accepted to prestigious engineering work study programs with Lockheed Martin, Unisys and GlaxoSmithKline. Upon graduation, she began her career as a Systems Engineer and then a Project Manager at BAE Systems, a large U.S. government defense contractor. She worked on the communication systems between the F-15 and F-16 fighter planes where she earned the Meritorious Performer Award and led her team to win the Chairman’s Gold Award in Innovation, the highest award offered by the global company. In collaboration with Harvard University, she has been published in the journal.Christina is the Founder of XIA Capital where the company funds tech start-ups. She is an active angel investor in various industries with Business, Product and Engineering experience in Government Defense, Negotiation, Contracts, Entertainment, Media and Real Estate. She has traveled across the United States and internationally speaking at conferences, participating on panels and pitch sessions. Christina has always had a love of the arts. From a young age, she was classically trained in Indian dance. She founded and operated two dance schools in NY and NJ. She has a great deal of experience in choreographing, teaching and performing across North America, Europe, and Asia. She has performed on Broadway in New York City and has won several pageants throughout the years. In addition, Christina was an actress and starred as one of the lead roles in the first Telugu movies filmed in the United States, as well as having performed in numerous dance dramas. Alongside these endeavors, she has also gained extensive expertise in judging various dance competitions and pageants across the country as well as being an event program director/coordinator.Christina’s bi-cultural upbringing and interests give her a unique ability to write in a style that anyone can understand. Her debut book, Royal Planet, is an award-winning novel. It\'s an action packed story, with many twists and turns, that will keep the reader guessing on what\'s next. She wrote a story that her kids would find interesting, while touching on various topics without feeling lectured.Some topics touched upon are colorism, racism, adoption, trauma, addiction, narcissism, relationships, self worth, family dynamics and many more.
