ABOUT CHRISTA GOTT

I’ve spent my career working inside some of the most complex areas of care- first as a hematology/oncology clinician, and later at the system level, where clinical rigor, access, and sustainability intersect.Earlier in my career, I spent a decade with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association developing national criteria and conducting on‑site evaluations for solid organ transplant, peripheral blood stem cell transplant, and bariatric programs across the U.S. That work required balancing evidence, variation in practice, and real‑world feasibility; it shaped how high‑stakes care is evaluated at scale.Those experiences inform how I think about healthcare today: how insights from one therapeutic area translate to others, how science moves into practice, and how patient experience is shaped by systems as much as by clinical decisions.I’m most interested in the spaces where complexity is unavoidable, where science is advancing quickly, and where sustainability matters; for patients, care teams, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
