ABOUT CHLOE CROSS MCIOF

As a Supporter Engagement Manager at Stonewall, I lead and manage a team to provide excellent supporter care and experience, and to generate £1.3m income through community fundraising, corporate partnerships and major donors. I have successfully grown our participation events portfolio and achieved ROI of at least 2:1 across our offerings nationally. I am a certified member of the Institute of Fundraising with a Certificate in Fundraising with Merit, achieved alongside working at Welsh Women’s Aid.At Welsh Women’s Aid, I led the acquisition, stewardship and retention plans for individual giving; legacy and in memory giving; community fundraising; corporate partnerships; participant events; and regular giving, successfully growing each area through testing and evaluating. I developed and led our Christmas giving campaign as part of the Big Give, exceeding target, increasing socials reach, leading on the collaborative project and comms plan, and increasing our warm supporter base, with my report on my work and planning awarded for Best Supporter Engagement and further funding. I grew the participation event portfolio to year-on-year growth, with strong ROI and engagement metrics, a strong portfolio, and high acquisition. I developed a new Fundraising Toolkit to positive feedback, building relationships with past and current fundraisers to create case studies and lasting impact to support retention and acquisition. I led on the development and delivery of a bespoke fundraising website, including the development of all resources, campaign materials, impact measurements, and testing, leading to an increase in supporter-led fundraising; campaign specific fundraising; legacy giving; and in memory giving. I led on multiple campaigns, contributing to year-on-year growth and increased targets of over 40% exceeded.I hold an MA in Gender and Culture from Swansea University, where I also completed my BA in American Studies and Social History, spending a year studying at The University of New Mexico. I volunteer at Chayn, a global network addressing gender-based violence by creating online resources for survivors. I support the team in service design, content creation, user research and outreach. I have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and multiple LinkedIn certificates in data analytics, enabling me to apply data-driven and process improvement methods to projects. I am a strategic thinker, a results-driven professional, with experience in varied sectors such as audit and risk, insurance and compliance, transport and safety, and retail.
