Team player.Passionate hard working conscientious Confident and Driven/Living the dream everyday thru positive renforcement and the inner ability to analyze players strenths and weaknesses both physically and more importantly mentally.My goal is to build up players self confidence while teaching each player the little things fundimentally and consider myself a motivator.My strenths in my teachings is breaking down throwing with least resistance more 4 seam rotation and less injury while building up arm strenth.Im also very interested in improving young players hitting skills thru multiple drills from short distances with most emphasis on the mental side of pitcher vs hitter and most importantly back side hitting and the hitters overall ability to make adjustments situationally later in each at bat.Im passionate in making each player reach his goals with my 25 years as an area scout,crosschecker and professional scout and look forward to accurately evaluating and improving every player.Ive been fortunate to work with and under legendary scouting directors Tim Wilken,Chris Buckley,Jack Zdurienzik and have worked closely with the late Bill Lajoie and the late Sr Braves Advisor Tom Giordano and present special asst to Rays Gm Bobby Heck.Ive signed 12 major league players in 16 years as a area scout with the Jays Reds and Brewers and helped the Cubs select 10 big leaguers in the 2008 Mlb draft which included 6th Rounder Inf Josh Harrison 9th rounder Jay Jackson and Javier Baez in 2011 under legendary Scouting director Tim Wilken to 2012 and currently work for Scouting Director Chris Buckley covering South Texas since October 2016 for the Cincinnati Reds.My everyday goal is to help make a positive difference in our game and my ultimate dream is to help mlb bring more young minority’s into our game and to help USA Baseball in anyway i can.Passionate about theses causes and motivated to help make a difference in my lifetime and Love my position as one of our Area Scouts and Fun means doing this great job everyday with great people.
