I\'m no stranger to defying expectations. Growing up in Los Angeles in a conservative Persian-Jewish community, the last thing that my friends and family ever expected of me was the decision to move to Israel and enlist in the Israel Defense Forces. But I did.When I enlisted shortly after learning how to speak Hebrew, the last thing that my fellow soldiers expected of me was that I would become a commander. But I did.At AIPAC, I bring this same passion for surpassing expectations to my role as Membership Engagement Manager. Every day, I strive to serve our donors as their personal connection to AIPAC\'s mission and inspire them to make gifts that strengthen the U.S-Israel relationship.By far, the best part about my job is having the opportunity to connect with those who share my values and those of AIPAC. Together, we can continue to defy expectations, advance our crucial mission, and strengthen the enduring bond between the United States and Israel.Let\'s write the next chapter of history together.
