Manage, facilitate, coordinate, and direct key functions and activities of the Dean\'s Office. • Serve as a senior advisor to the dean on all key aspects of law school operations, budget, personnel management and policies.• Clearly and strategically communicate the dean\'s vision to both internal and external stakeholders.• Respond to concerns, issues and inquiries on the dean\'s behalf and coordinate execution of law school-wide projects and duties as designated by the dean.• Oversee the Marketing, Communications, and Admissions departments of the law school.• Oversee the compliance and reporting functions for the law school, including annual accreditation and marketing related reporting; ensure compliance with university required reporting.• Monitor the operational systems that support the law school, thinking critically about their functions, and identifying gaps and areas for growth and improvement.• As an innovation partner to the dean, strategize, research and operationalize initiatives designed to create new revenue streams, maximize organizational nimbleness, and support the long-term sustainability of the law school. • Provide crisis management guidance and support to the dean, assisting in the development of responsive strategies and policies, drafting sensitive and comprehensive communications, coordinating compliance with administrative units, and fielding questions from faculty and staff to foster organizational transparency during stressful events.• Advise and collaborate with administrative deans and department leads on personnel issues, planning and justifying hiring requests, mapping out department reorganization strategies; and resolving administrative and production bottlenecks as needed.• Serve as an advocate on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion, ensuring that an equity lens is applied as part of the analysis and planning of all policies, projects, initiatives, and communications arising in the Dean’s Office.
