The Area Director for Broadband manages the implementation of Communities Unlimited (CU) broadband strategy across their seven-state service area: AL, AR, LA, MS, OK, TN, TX. The Area Director recruits, hires, and supervises members of the broadband team, provides technical assistance to community stakeholders and develops grant proposals and budgets to assist the broadband program in its mission to ensure equitable access to high-speed internet in rural communities throughout CU\'s footprint.Have written, solely and in partnership, over 70 Broadband grants in the past two years, resulting in over $14 M in funds awarded to directly impact rural broadband access.
