A career communicator and leader, I evolved from teaching to marketing to business development. During my time in the classroom, I earned an MS in Technical Communication at night. I transitioned out of education and into content marketing by taking on writing projects one at a time in science, technology, and business.One client was Sumus, which led to an opportunity there as Marketing Manager. My role then expanded to Director, involved not only in marketing but business consulting. I had the chance to help many exciting growing organizations.I joined Atlantic Research Group, a contract research organization, as Manager to build a marketing department from the ground up. Over time, my leadership opportunities grew, as did the sophistication and impact of my projects. As a result, I was named Associate Director.Later, my roles expanded to include management of the entire sales team and process, first at Optimal Bio as Senior Business Development Manager, and now as Vice President at Cristo Rey.
