ABOUT CAROLINE LEE
I am an experienced scientist with over two decades of dedicated research in animal behavior and welfare science at CSIRO. Holding a PhD from the University of Sydney (2002) and recognized as a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAIDC). With a wealth of national and international recognition in animal welfare science, I have authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications.My expertise extends to advising on animal welfare policy, drawing upon my extensive background and insights. I\'ve served as the former Deputy Chair of the board of ANZCCART and contributed significantly to the development of Standards and Guidelines for Cattle, Sheep and Poultry through participation in reference groups.Currently, I contribute actively as a member of the RSPCA Animal Welfare and Ethics Committee and hold a position on the NSW Animal Welfare Advisory Council, where I continue to provide advice to improve the lives of animals.
