ABOUT ANDREW CARLSON

Hi, I’m Andy, and I love data! I’ve found that I’m most in my element as a problem solver, and have a passion for leveraging day-to-day business data promote the growth and development of various organizations. Additionally, I love homogenizing multiple data streams to provide cohesive, accurate answers to challenging business questions. In my current role as a senior Analyst for Roche Diagnostics Corporation, I’m responsible for: • Developing large-scale data visualization tools (primarily in Tableau) for consumption by everyone from Executive Leadership down to field-level sales and support personnel • Building, Validating, and deploying various ETL solutions through both SQL and Alteryx to harness the power of cleaned, optimized data to drive efficient and performant display and analysis • Requirements gathering and process implementation A couple other facts about me: • I love not only identifying solutions, but also executing those solutions. • I’ve never been able to take “that can’t be done” as an answer. • While I work best in group situations, I’m also completely comfortable seeing a project through its conclusion on my own. • In my professional career, I’ve worn many hats: Programmer, Analyst, Editor. I love evolving my portfolio to ensure I have the right skills for whatever challenge I’m currently solving. I always love meeting individuals with similar skill-sets, goals, and above all else, ideas. If you ever want to talk about analytics, stats, or even football (I’m a Bears fan), don’t hesitate to give me a shout! Specialties: Analytics, Performance metrics, Dashboarding, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Process Improvement, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL
