ABOUT CARLO PALASCIANO

Currently at Ferrovie dello Stato - FS Group - following the tenure concluded as Chief International Officer and Chief Transformation Officer, supporting the development and management of the International assets of the Italian State Railways in the handover period. Previously, till July 2020, I was Enel Country Manager and General Manager of Enel Russia, a power company headquartered in Moscow operating 4 production branches in Russia with an aggregate installed capacity of approx. 8.500 MW and 2 400 GCal/h providing power and heat to both industrial enterprises and household consumers. In 2017, Enel Russia entered the market of renewable energy, having won a tender to build 2 wind projects with a total capacity of 291 MW. Enel Russia is a Public Joint-Stock Company listed on Russian MICEX-RTS.I was also Chairman of the board of Rusenergosbyt LLC, a Russian JV between Enel and private Russian company ESN, which supplies electricity to major Russian industrial customers. Formerly I served as Head of Tax of Enel Group. I also worked as CEO of Enel.factor spa, the Enel Group factoring company.Before I held several positions as manager at Coopers & Lybrand, Finmeccanica, Italian Banking Association, Aeroporti di Roma. I also served as a Public Officer of Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Army). I\'ve had a 360° management practice (Legal, HR, Finance, Budget/Control, Commercial, Production, Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations) and a global professional experience from Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, South America and Russia.Moreover I gained a broad Board Member experience having been appointed to the Board of Directors of several subsidiaries of Enel including Enel Investment Holding BV, Enel Finance International NV, Enel France sas.I hold a degree in Law from the University of Rome “ La Sapienza” and I am a Public Chartered Accountant.
