ABOUT CARL GERRIETS
In every situation, I’m focused on the future. I want to find ways we can do better and help people to get there.Throughout my career, I’ve always been focused on helping people and organizations transform. As a community college instructor, my focus was helping adults not only to learn challenging material and skills, but to have surprising and empowering experiences that would help them take control of their education. I also was a continual change agent for the college, launching two different peer mentoring programs and driving e-learning when it was just getting started. That passion for creating change led me to get my Prosci Change Practitioner certification, and then to pursue change management full-time.At PGE, I started as a change manager driving organizational changes in HR, operations, and IT. As the IT change lead, I worked with the new CIO to transform the organizational culture and approach to leadership. Currently as a manager I’ve been chosen to drive leadership alignment and change management for a technology project that will give operations a leap forward, delivering $19M in operational efficiency over the next 5 years.Whether designing workshops and retreats, developing strategic plans, or tackling difficult re-organization challenges, I’m most engaged when helping the people of an organization be ready to build a better future together.
