ABOUT CANDY ELSMORE

I am a manager with 30 years experience in Auckland\'s creative and cultural, and public sectors. I am currently working in the position of Project Manager at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited. Prior to that I was the Heritage Engagement Manager, Auckland Council. I have been the Communities & Programmes Lead at Te Manawa, the community hub at Westgate in Auckland\'s North West. I was the Project Director for the Arts Regional Trust; an organisation that was an innovative investor in Auckland’s creative sector through a range of programmes that accelerated development and capability building. I have a MA and post-graduate diploma in Museum Studies, and was the Director of Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts ( then Manukau City), during which I fundraised for and managed an extensive building redevelopment project. Prior to that I was the Collection and Public Programmes Manager at MOTAT (Auckland City), and the Manager of the Mairangi Arts Centre (then North Shore City).
