ABOUT CAMILA DE CERDA

My career with Tommy Bahama has advanced in so many ways possible, never would I even begin to think that I would be where I stand today as a General Manger in training. I started my role as a Floor supervisor looking to find growth with the company. One year later I was promoted internally into an Assistant Store Manager and to say the least a couple of months being in my assistant role I became a retail store manager. As a store manager I was exposed to our Marlin Bar concept which includes managing both retail and bar. Being a retail gal most of my time in the work field, the F&B business was intimidating at first but with my skills and eagerness to continue to grow I knew that in order to gain more experience and take the next step was to join the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bars, and so I did. Here I am running the Palm Beach Gardens Marlin bar both retail and bar alongside of my GM Eboni Anderson. I can say I am proud to work with a company that has such a strong example of leadership and customer service in the industry.If you asked me why I love my job, I could go on and on about how I have rewarding work. I have enjoyed retail and customer service for years, and I’m fortunate to make a living now doing something I find challenging and inspiring. Working with incredible team member\'s and a company inspired by the island life can’t get any better.
