ABOUT BRIAN D. HODSON

Proven operations leader with experience in retail, restaurant, finance and senior living operations. Most recently working in senior living. I began my career working in restaurants, then in college began working for Starbucks Coffee Company. I was with Starbucks for almost 20yrs. In that time I started as a barista, eventually honing my skills in leadership, driving for results, team building, and people development to be promoted to District Manager.After my time with Starbucks I began a new career in finance as a Mortgage Advisor. Assisting clients with improving their personal financial situation in preparation of purchasing a home or an investment property.With the experience of Starbucks and personal finance under my belt, I decided to take my skills to the field of Senior Living. I started as an Executive Director in training. When the training was completed I was assigned a role as a Memory Care Administrator then promoted to Executive Director 5 months later during the pandemic.Outside of my career I have given back to my community by volunteering in a variety of ways: President of the Chamber of Commerce, little league coach, youth football coach, board member of a couple of youth boards, and for the past 12 years I have been the Mayor of my city.
