Brent is chairman and CEO of Bausch + Lomb, a world leader in eye care products and prescription pharmaceuticals. As CEO, he leads the company’s employees in their mission to help people see better to live better. Brent has a proven track record as a senior executive and has built some of the most globally recognized consumer brands, including Botox, Claritin and Coppertone. He has held executive leadership roles with multiple organizations in the health care sector, including Schering-Plough, Forest Laboratories, Actavis and Allergan. He also previously served as president and CEO of Bausch + Lomb from 2010 to 2013. Brent excels at leading value-enhancing initiatives, overseeing more than $300B worth of mergers and acquisitions. Brent serves as chairman of the board of The Beauty Health Company and Roam. He is also an executive trustee at Mount Sinai Medical Center, a director at Arena AI and a board advisor for Nextech. Brent is committed to giving back to the community. He sits on the board of the Child Mind Institute, which assists children living with mental health challenges and learning disorders. For more than 14 years, Brent has partnered with Community Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides veterans, youths and their families with crucial mental health services. He also works with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, an organization that raises awareness about Parkinson’s and ultimately seeks a cure for the disease.
