ABOUT BRENDAN COOK
My name is Brendan Cook, and I am from Novi, Michigan. I am a Junior majoring in Finance with a co-major in Business Analytics at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. The main reason I chose business was that from a young age, I would always listen to my parents talk about business-related topics and what they did at work since they both majored and worked in business as well. They worked in the finance and insurance industries which sparked an interest in both of them for me and ignited my passion for learning about business and how it affects the world. Prior to Indiana University, I began my professional experience by working as a steward/prep chef at a restaurant which refined my adaptability, time management, and leadership skills as I took on challenges in being able to multitask efficiently, train new hires, and be able to work multiple roles. I am always eager and willing to learn new things that will help me further my skill sets and knowledge about business or anything else. I aspire to create change and make a difference in what I do during my professional career which is why I am excited to see the progression of my business knowledge.
