Direct all safety and security operations across 62 campuses covering 500 square miles and serving approximately students and staff. Oversaw the successful completion of the construction as designed from a safety and security perspective.\\\\nPolicy Development: Responsible for the development of organizational policies and systems designed to reduce risk to the organization and community, and operate a 24/7/365 Department of Safety, Security and Emergency Services.\\\\nBudget: Develop and administer a $4.43M general budget and up to $1M Capital Reserve budget.\\\\nConsultant: Provide expert advice to the Board of Education, Chief Executive Officer/Superintendent and Executive Staff on issues related to safety and security.\\\\nDiversity & Inclusion: Responsible for the development and implementation of establishing equitable practices, policies and systems designed to reduce disproportionality of punitive measures on the basis of race. Included hiring over 20 FTE at a cost of $2M as part of this process resulting in a decrease of 80.6% of discipline.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
