I am employed full time as the Business Platform Manager for The Connells Group, within the Countrywide Lettings Division. My role involves managing the Business Platform Team itself, whilst being it\'s senior developer - which includes developing applications (coding, database reporting and workflow building using SQL & MySQL as well as HTML) within the company-wide data and portfolio management system.I also work closely with business sector leaders and heads of operations to enhance existing processes, develop plans for new processes, and bolster the efficiency for the entire lettings side of the business. Furthermore within my role, I lead nationwide conferences where I manage the deployment of aforementioned projects and processes, across the business network of over 400 branches / offices. This role is primarily IT focused and using my experience in this field I also regularly give out advice and provide support to colleagues and stakeholders for a multitude of IT related matters - including Microsoft Office based project development (inc. coding in VBA), systems configuration and general technical support.I have always been the entrepreneurial type of person, I love to take on new challenges and opportunities that arise and am not afraid to go all in for an idea I am passionate about; I wouldn\'t be in the role I am in now without this mindset.I am willing to take educated and calculated risks to excel in business and I am not afraid to adopt new ideas or to learn new ways of doing things; many of my role models in business, with much hard work and dedication, have ascended the corporate ladder or have even made it in their own company, and become among the best they can be in their field. I strive to take in what I am taught and learn from each and every experience. I would recommend to anyone to follow their business instinct and to go full force for their goal, whatever it takes - the hard work will pay off and your career dreams will be achieved one day.
