About Blain Tomlinson
Blain has over twenty years of experience in healthcare and the medical device industry. Prior to founding WalkJoy, Inc. he was the Executive Director of the St. Joseph Health System’s Mission Innovation Institute, Executive Director of the AWTBI Foundation, Vice President of Healthcare for BW Partners - O’Melveny and Meyers Consulting and consulted for the Defense Advanced Research Program Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office. Blain co-founded the Orange Country Life Science CEO Roundtable and co-founded a lecturer series on Entrepreneurship at the University of California Irvine’s Henry Samueli School of Engineering and holds three medical device patents. Prior to entering the medical device industry, Blain worked for Sen. Conrad Burns, MT and was a Government Relations Representative for Tenneco, Inc.\'s Newport News Shipbuilding. Blain graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carroll College and from USMC Officer Candidate School. Blain is an Assistant Program Leader and Ambassador for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, is a Representative for the Veteran Administration Volunteer Services, is a Lifetime Member of the Surfrider Foundation and DAV. He\'s is an active member and volunteer for Trout Unlimited and Bonefish Tarpon Trust.
