ABOUT BENJAMIN JUNG

I am currently working as a Solution Manager leveling and paving the path to a “Digital-First” World for international engineering procurement construction (EPC) contractors. Content Management in all its facets is the thread I have been following throughout my career, from Electronic Healthcare Records to eBook Publishing Systems to Enterprise Information Systems-No great speech was ever written without listening-I have successfully applied active listening techniques to steer escalating projects back on track, regained customers trust and subsequently created additional business opportunities. Since 15+ years, I demonstrate professional communication and knowledge transfer skills to target audiences ranging from small project teams to large conference groups, from software engineers to C-level management, from engineering to medicine.I am keen on keeping close contact with academia, promoting a transparent university-corporate relationship. With an extensive experience teaching and researching in international academic and corporate environments, I understand the strength of and opportunities for both sides-No great team was ever formed without diversity-I have lived and worked long-term in 3 countries on 2 continents. Since my early childhood, open arms from around the world have taught me to not only respect diversity of all types but to embrace it and use its beauty as the source of strength. My voluntary work as a board member of the German-Canadian Association allows me to engage in bilateral communities and foster the cultural, social and economic links between Germany and Canada.
