Responsible for leading the funding, alignment, and the strategic efforts of four area economic development boards. Collectively, they implement collaborative community, economic, entrepreneurial, and area transformational development initiatives. Outcomes from the SLED Group have been recognized nationally through entities such as Business in Focus Magazine. They have also formed state wide best practice models for targeted reinvestment in area development districts. SLED is engaged in a broad range of leadership activities throughout the area and its many communities.
