Beth Rohani is the CEO/President one of the Top Rated Moving Companies serving the Residential & Commercial markets in the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. As an Iranian-American, former TV news assignments editor and now CEO working at the top of the male-dominated transportation logistics industry, Beth challenges multiple stereotypes while inspiring and mentoring others to build a successful business. Beth founded Ameritex Movers in Houston as a means to earn extra money for books and tuition while in college. She oversaw all aspects of the company from marketing to logistics, staffing, in addition to developing strategic partnerships that led the business twice being named to Houston Business Journal\'s Fastest Growing Companies. Beth\'s logistical instincts and knack for growing networks positioned the business as far more than just a means to pay for tuition and textbooks. Now, having left behind a career at an national TV news affiliate where she was entrusted to gather breaking news the assignments desk, Beth is committed to growing Ameritex Movers with the foundation that has been built by its culture and core values. Once crowned Miss Congeniality in the Miss Texas USA pageant, Beth was born in Tehran, Iran. Her parents were proud of their heritage, but concerns about the impact the new oppressive regime in Iran would have on their hopes for their daughter, led them to move to the US in 1984 when Beth was 7 years old. Her early education included attending American public schools, observing her parent\'s enduring work ethic, and Persian lessons at home. This deep reverence for Persian culture allowed her to retain a connection with her roots while simultaneously embracing life as a typical all-American girl. Beth is a force for good, and at the height of her skills, she spreads the message of resilience & hope and the importance of time & living your best life. Living a life of authenticity, accountability and now leading a company she has built since her early twenties, Beth is an inspiring leader, passionate about bringing value to others through entrepreneurship, mentorship & thought-leadership. From overseeing budgets and scaling to system integrations and automations, I’m passionate about creating efficiency and innovation while staying grounded in accountability, integrity, communication, grit, and creative thinking.Throughout my career, I’ve also served as the spokesperson for Ameritex Movers, representing both the company and the moving industry through speaking and leadership roles. I served on the Houston Apartment Association board (2009–2015) and the International Management District board (2019–2021), experiences that deepened my ability to build partnerships, strengthen industries, and advocate for community growth.These experiences opened the door to my current role as President & Director of Marketing for the National Speakers Association Houston Chapter, where I bring my entrepreneurial perspective and passion for communication to serve fellow professionals.
