Lead Mechanical Validation and Lifetime Testing projects for the $100M+ Gigafactory commissioning, designing and executing fatigue life-cycle testing on proprietary sorbent-contactor modules (filters with Nobel-Prize validated MOFs) to guarantee operational life KPIs and prevent mechanical failure across a 10+ million tonne CO2 capture capacity Manage day-to-day operations of the Mechanical and Failure Analysis Labs ($2 Million Valuation), including onboarding and training of new users, conducting JSA and SOP reviews, and driving continuous improvements in lab safety, efficiency, and documentation standards Lead high-risk root cause investigations and cross-functional engineering initiatives as SME, applying 8D and 5 Whys methodologies to resolve systemic issues and drive continuous improvement Collaborate extensively with R&D, high-volume manufacturing, product engineering, and quality assurance teams to enhance product robustness, reduce failure rates, and accelerate validation cycles for faster time-to-market Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and co-op students, reinforcing a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the team
