ABOUT BEN MAGNOTTA

I am passionate about the operations and logistics behind sporting events, with hands-on experience working in several NCAA Division I athletic departments, including Syracuse University, the University of Maryland, and Cornell University. I’ve contributed to events such as ACC and Ivy League championships, NCAA tournaments, and Super Bowl where I’ve collaborated with teams, coordinated high-profile events, and delivered exceptional experiences for teams, officials, and fans.Alongside this, I run my own digital sports media and special events business. Through this work, I have organized and executed senior All-Star games in basketball and lacrosse attendees) and am currently developing an invite-only fall basketball league with participants spanning three states. This role covers all aspects of operations, including scheduling, logistics, sponsorship activation, staffing, uniforms, and game-day execution, while also managing client services and business operations.These opportunities, both institutional and entrepreneurial, have strengthened my enthusiasm for the behind-the-scenes aspects of the sports industry. I am always eager to take on new challenges, learn from others in the industry, reflect on my own mistakes, and continue growing into an effective sport event management, game operations, and facilities professional.
