Provide 3rd Line support for the Network •Help design new solutions, based on operational requirements •Research new technologies and solutions, and ensure appropriate levels of assurance •Plan, direct and co-ordinate activities, engaging with other stakeholders to manage and implement a programme •Plan for 3-5 year timescales on kit retention •collaborate with engineers to ensure systems are practically designed •Attend pre-sales and project initiation meetings to gain full understanding of business & client requirements. •Securing systems to PCI DSS & standards through vulnerability scanning and remediation •Research and analyse requirements for assigned projects and be involved in full project lifecycle from inception to closure. •Manage milestones & deliverables within project scope. •Documenting Network Infrastructure and configuration and keep them up-to-date •Assist in the migration from, consolidation of and/or decommission of legacy systems •Maintaining systems uptime and performance through the use of Solarwinds •Coach and mentor associate network engineers where appropriate •Liaison with internal and external support teams based at other locations. Provide technical guidance and assistance to Technical Support engineers. Proactively share information on services, configurations, specific settings and related technical information. •On-call support is expected, out of hours’ work may be required
