I launched Pole Star Defense (USA) in St. Petersburg, FL in March, 2020 with a mission to provide national security critical geospatial data services and advanced technology solutions search and rescue operations, maritime surveillance, incident management, international sanctions compliance and risk mitigation. As President, I own P&L and all BAU corporate functions for the subsidiary company. With a staff of 50+ with ARR upwards of $15M and pipeline of +$50M. Responsible for our corporate defense portfolio for maritime, homeland security, space satellite technologies, national security critical systems, SaaS, FedRamp hosted data centers, LRIT, Satellite-AIS, RF, SAR, and sensitive non-cooperative defense and law enforcement satellite surveillance programs. I manage 60+ long-term international government contracts for satellite surveillance and data center programs, Additionally, I lead new product development and technology selection delivering fully outsourced custom platform development. I have developed strong industry partner relationships with the world’s leading providers of geolocation technologies. Managing National Data Centers on behalf of over 60+ governments and flag administrations, monitoring more than ships, for over clients, including the governments of the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Panama, Liberia, and the Marshall Islands. Pole Star Defense - is a privately held, London headquartered technology company. Since opening in 1998, Pole Star has pushed the limits of innovation, delivering advanced technologies that mitigate growing national security threats and support enforcement of US and international sanctions policy, protection of supply chains, cargo, territorial waters and, most importantly, lives within the maritime infrastructure and beyond.

ABOUT BEN MINICHINO
Senior executive leader with 25+ years of leadership, management and business development experience in defense, maritime and aerospace technologies. Active US DOD Clearance. Founded the Pole Star’s Defense business unit which achieved exponential organic growth of $+40M in three years resulting in the largest US DOD contract in the history of the company. Launched, built, led, and manage Pole Star’s US Defense subsidiary office in St Petersburg, FL with a highly specialized mission in support of our Government clients. Under my leadership, this company has received designation as National Security Critical by the US Dept. of Homeland Security. Selected and hired the US company\'s core leadership team and lead the global government business domain with a portfolio of technologies providing solutions to government clients worldwide. I oversee the company’s global defense partnerships and JV’s, relationships with OEM\'s and core technology providers, US staffing, operations, contract management, negotiations, compliance, and deliverables. I manage a global team of sales professionals, engineers, technicians, and IT security experts. Previously, I have served as Vice President and Director of Sales, Senior Sales Manager, Country Director and law enforcement executive, Chief Investigator. I am a former United States Marine and a Master Mason. I volunteer and serve on several international NGO advisory boards which focus on child protection issues involving international human trafficking.
