ABOUT BEN HERMANN

I am currently a professor for software engineering at TU Dortmund. I am mainly working on static analysis often with the goal of strengthening the security of applications, be it Android, Java, or C/C++-based. I teach, I mentor, and I research. I regard myself also as a software engineer and like to bring new theory into practice and application. For this, I co-author several frameworks for static program analysis and multiple supporting platforms.
