Becky Boresen joined the Medicine and Biology Society bringing over a decade of experience from She began her career in 2007 with the Conferences, Events & Experiences department, where she handled all aspects of conference registration and planning. In 2015, Becky transitioned to the Power Electronics Society, focusing on society operations and governance. In this role, she managed daily operations, including finances, governance support, and committee oversight for Women in Engineering, Diversity and Inclusion, and Young Professionals. She also contributed to special initiatives such as webinars, PELS Day, strategic planning, mentorship programs, and networking events.Most recently, Becky served as the MOVE Program Manager, where she supported the MOVE Global Committee and led complex, mission-driven initiatives with a strong focus on volunteer engagement, project management, and financial oversight.Becky has since joined the Medicine and Biology Society, where she supports the Executive and Administrative Committee, oversees society finances, and contributes to special society projects. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to navigate complex projects and processes with ease, consistently promoting growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
